1. Booking and Payments
- Advance Payment: An advance payment is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid either before your departure or upon arrival in India, but it must be settled prior to the commencement of services.
- Special Cases: For special train journeys and peak season hotel bookings (such as Christmas and New Year), full payment is required in advance
Mode of Payment
Overseas payments can be made via bank wire transfer.
2. Cancellation Policy
To cancel any tour or travel service, you must notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
- 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the tour/service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the tour/service cost
- 7 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour/service cost
- 48 hours prior to arrival or No Show: No refund
Note:
- Cancellations are only accepted on working days (Monday to Saturday). Cancellations sent on Sundays will be processed on the next working day.
- For travel during the Christmas and New Year period (December 20 to January 5), all payments are non-refundable.
- If you cancel after the trip has begun, any refund will depend on recoverable costs from hotels and service providers for unused accommodations or transportation.
Wildlife Safaris
All bookings for wildlife safaris in Indian national parks and sanctuaries are non-refundable. Any requests for date changes will also be treated as cancellations.
3. Our Liabilities
- After finalizing your tour/service cost, any increases in entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges mandated by the government will be passed on to you.
- Travel Bug India acts solely as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters, and other service providers. All documents issued by us are subject to their terms and conditions.
- Itineraries are sample schedules intended to provide a general idea of your trip. Changes may occur due to weather, road conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to adjust schedules for your safety and comfort.
- Our rates are based on negotiated agreements with service providers and may be subject to changes without prior notice.
4. Limitations of Liability
Travel Bug India is not responsible for any delays, alterations, or expenses incurred due to natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns, weather conditions, or other unforeseen events.
We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property resulting from accommodations, transportation, or other services, especially if caused by external factors beyond our control.
Visitors are strongly advised to arrange travel insurance covering accidents, illness, theft, or other unexpected events. All personal belongings are at the client’s risk.
5. Disclaimer
Travel Bug India is not responsible for costs arising from unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, or severe weather conditions.
