Orissa Beach Tour 8 Nights / 9 Days

Day 01: Berhampur-Gopalpur

Arrive at Berhampur Railway Station; you will be picked up and transferred to Gopalpur. Check-in at the hotel. Explore the virgin Gopalpur beach. In the afternoon visit Taptapani, a hot spring water spot (60 kms / 1.30Hrs) from Gopalpur, followed by visit to Berhampur, known for ethnic Gold & Silver Jewelry, Silk Sarees & Handicrafts. In the evening return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Gopalpur

In the morning visit the Taratarini Temple on a hill top about (25 kms / 1hr.) from Gopalpur and return to hotel. Afternoon is at your leisure on the beach. Enjoy a cultural program in the evening. Overnight in hotel.

Day 03: Gopalpur-Chilika

Check-out in the morning and depart for Chilika (70 Kms / 02hrs). Chilika Lake is a bird watcher’s paradise when migratory birds arrive in winter from Siberia. Check-in at the hotel followed by visit to goddess Kalijai Island by boat. Visit famous temple of Maa Bhagabati. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Chilika-Bhubaneshwar (110 kms. / 02hrs)

In the morning check-out and proceed to Bhubaneswar, enroute visit the Nandankanan Sanctuary and Biological Park famous for Gharials (crocodile) and White Tigers. Visit Khandagiri and Udayagiri. On arrival in Bhubaneswar, check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon visit Rajarani & Mukteshwar Temple followed by a city tour of Bhubaneswar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Bhubaneswar

In the morning proceed to Lingaraj Temple and near by temples, enroute visit Orissa State Museum, a renowned museum. Visit to the City centre for shopping. Return to hotel, evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Bhubaneswar-Puri

In the morning check out from hotel and proceed to Puri. Drive to Puri (65 kms/ 02hrs). Check-in at your hotel followed by a visit to Sun Temple Konark, dedicated to Surya, (the Sun God) and stone carving artisan village at Chaitana. Evening enjoy a special odissi dance performance at Amphi Theatre. Return to the hotel for the night.

Day 07: Puri

In the morning visit Lord Jagannath Temple. Thereafter go to the grand road called Bada Dand, the shoppers delight. In the afternoon visit the Artisans village of Raghurajpur, (25 kms / 45min). away, popularly known for its Patachitra. In evening enjoy at beach, back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08: Puri

After breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Satpada (Dolphin Island), enjoy the boat ride there followed by visit to virgin beach. Evening back to hotel & enjoy the entertainment. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09: Puri-Bhubaneswar

The morning is free for leisure. Check-out in the afternoon and depart to Bhubaneswar for your onward journey
