Day 01: Trivandrum – Kovalam
Arrive at Trivandrum Airport. You will be picked up and will be transferred to Kovalam. Enroute, you can visit the Padmanapuram palace (90 Kms / 2 hrs Hrs). On your arrival at Kovalam, check into the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure on the beach at Kovalam. Enjoy the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands in Kerala -Gods own country. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Kovalam.
Day 02: Kovalam
Full day is at leisure at the beach resort; enjoy the facilities at the resort.
Day 03: Kovalam
After breakfast, you will be taken for a sightseeing of Trivandrum. Visit: The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple. Afternoon, you can relax at the beach .Overnight stay is at the hotel, Kovalam.
Day 04: Kovalam – Kumarakom
After breakfast, check out from the hotel (9.00 am) .You will be driven to Kumarakom (175 Kms / 4 Hrs). On arrival at Kumarakom,visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and later check in at hotel. In the evening you can go for the Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near the Vembanadu Lake.
Day 05: Kumarakom
Day is free for leisure activities. A boat ride into the countryside, visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, adventure thrills in water sports like wind sailing and water skiing or canoeing at the lake. Night at the hotel/resort.
Day 06: Houseboat Kumarakom
Spend the morning at the resort. Check out (12.30 pm) from the resort and check in at the houseboat. Rest of the day is at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from polluted cities and the maddening crowd. Overnight stay is on the House Boat.
Day 07: Kumarakom – Periyar
Spend your morning at leisure on the House Boat. Experience the pollution-free air and after a good breakfast, check out from the houseboat (9.00 am). You will be driven to Periyar (Thekkady) 140 km /4 hrs. On your arrival at Thekkady, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, you can experience the view of the Periyar Lake. The sound of the birds and the wandering wild animals is a treat for your eyes. Overnight stay is at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 08: Periyar
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of India’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries covering 777 sq. Km (300 Sq. miles) and is a Tiger Reserve. Its centrepiece, the man-made Periyar Lake at the height of 2000 ft. covers 26 sq. km, running through the forests of the Western Ghats in Kerala. Animals found here include elephant, sambar, gaur and birds like ibis and grey heron. With a bit of extra luck we may be able to see the rare tiger as well. Later in the evening take a spice plantation tour to see crops of cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. On your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at Periyar.
Day 09: Periyar – Munnar
After breakfast, check out (9.00 am) from the hotel. You will be taken to Munnar (120 Kms / 4 Hrs). Drive through the panoramic Western Ghats covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams. On arrival at Munnar, check into the hotel. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 10: Munnar
After breakfast, you will be taken for a full day sightseeing trip of Munnar .Visit – Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary & Tea Plantation. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 11,Munnar Kochi
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Kochi. In the afternoon, go for a sightseeing of Fort Cochin- Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and the Bolghatty Palace. You can also take a stroll through the busy spice markets of the Jew town area. Check in at the hotel; overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12,Kochi
Check out at 12 00 noon and you will be transferred to Kochi airport for the departure journey.
